This American has postponed travel to Colombia three times since the pandemic hit. I have to wait and see how the political situation changes after tomorrow’s runoff. One thing is certain, the picture of gangs and reports of violence still discourage many from visiting. My Latin American trip this year was to Argentina and Chile. I did not feel unsafe in either country, was not harassed on the street and left with my belongings and body intact. Loved both countries.
